CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for the People Analytics team to design, build, and optimize data pipelines, data models, and reproducible workflows in cloud data platforms. You will collaborate with HR and business partners to enable accurate analytics and reporting using SQL, Python, and BI tools.

The role emphasizes data governance, security, and scalability, with leadership responsibilities for mentoring engineers and aligning data solutions with organizational needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes integrating HR data.
• Develop and optimize data workflows ensuring data accuracy and availability for stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of data engineers, mentoring on best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with People Analytics to structure data for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure data governance and security in line with policies and regulations.
