Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Data Engineer - People Analytics to develop data warehouse modeling, pipelines, and analytics for People and Workforce data in cloud platforms. You will design and optimize ETL processes, ensure data quality, and support reporting with SQL, Python, and BI tools.

You will lead data engineering efforts, mentor teammates, and implement data governance and security aligned with HR data confidentiality and compliance. A strong collaboration with HR and IT is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions.
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy and availability.
• Oversee a team of data engineers and maintain coding standards.
• Structure data for analysis and create reproducible workflows in R/Python.
• Ensure data governance and security per company policies.
• Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to meet business needs.
