Job summary

EquipmentShare in Columbia, MO is seeking a Data Analyst - People to shape strategic decisions through advanced modeling and analysis. You will join the People Analytics team and extract actionable insights from data to inform workforce and financial decisions.

This role focuses on talent acquisition, compensation, workforce planning and leader development, collaborating with technical teams and leadership to drive safe, productive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a People Analyst role preferred.
• Degree in psychology, economics, math, statistics or related field.
• Experience with Python or R and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate people needs and data into action; build relationships across the organization.
• Support development of the People Analytics roadmap and execute prioritized projects.
• Wrangle data to enable comprehensive intelligence for Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Workforce Planning.
• Learn analytics tools and methods through hands‑on involvement and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with stakeholders from technical teams to senior leadership on data-driven decisions.
• Prepare and analyze people‑related financial data, such as labor capitalization reports.
