Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Data Analyst - People to join the People Analytics team in Columbia, MO. You will shape strategic decisions through advanced modeling and analysis, focusing on workforce intelligence, compensation, and leader development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, wrangling data to derive actionable insights and support the People Analytics roadmap. Strong analytical skills and communication are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Python or R experience required.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data management and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Translate people needs and data into action: build relationships across the organization, identify quick wins, choose appropriate statistical tests, and partner to implement findings.
• Execute against the vision for People Analytics: support development of the roadmap and projects in Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Workforce Planning and Employee Listening.
• Wrangle data to enable comprehensive insights across People Analytics projects and contribute where needed.
• Learn about analytics tools and methods through hands-on involvement and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with team members from technical experts to senior leadership, showcasing the strategic value of data analytics.
• Prepare and analyze people-related financial data, such as labor capitalization reports.
