EquipmentShare is hiring a Data Analyst - People at our Columbia, MO facility to shape workforce analytics through advanced modeling and insights.

As a key member of the People Analytics team, you will work on Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Workforce Planning, and leader development, translating data into strategic recommendations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rigorous analysis, and practical outcomes—helping the company build the future of construction with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Python or R experience required.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data management and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Translate people needs and data into action: build relationships across the organization, identify quick wins, select appropriate statistical tests and implement findings.
• Support the People Analytics roadmap and projects: Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Workforce Planning, and Employee Listening.
• Wrangle data to enable comprehensive intelligence and contribute where needed on various analytics projects.
• Learn about analytics tools and methods through hands-on involvement and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with team members from technical experts to senior leadership to inform business decisions with data.
• Prepare and analyze people-related financial data such as labor capitalization reports.
