Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks a Pension Analyst within Workplace Investing Defined Benefit Operations. The role blends DB expertise with client management, coordinating complex issues and driving improvements through corporate actions and changes orders.

You will lead projects, guide teams, and serve as the primary contact for client and participant data questions. Analyzing operational workflows, you will support senior leaders, implement process changes, and contribute to ongoing service

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7+ years of defined benefit/pension plan administration experience.
• Experience in Project Management and/or Analytics.
• Ability to balance day-to-day management of several project-related responsibilities including highly prioritized requests.
• Demonstrate leadership with self-motivation and mentoring abilities.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for complex calculations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, lead and drive operational services and efficiencies for clients.
• Provide leadership on ad hoc client or internal projects requiring critical thinking.
• Provide information and advice on plan documentation discrepancies and/or guidelines.
• Analyze, review, and guide client teams to resolution of escalated issues.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for client and participant problem resolution and data questions.
• Lead multiple client plan processes and maintain direction documents.
• Own and analyze operational issues and implement solutions based on plan design and system functionality.
• Play a role in implementation, corporate actions and/or other projects and ensure defects are fixed.
