Job summary

SEIU Healthcare IL Benefit Funds is seeking a Pension Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for pension administration, data analytics, and system configuration. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure plan provisions, IRS, and ERISA compliance are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ defined benefit pension processing experience.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and documentation skills.
• Experience with Taft-Hartley, union or non-profit environments is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform pension administration tasks and calculate benefits per IRS/ERISA rules.
• Troubleshoot pension system issues with technical and non-technical teams.
• Prepare compliance reports and board materials on a regular cadence.
• Coordinate system changes, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to document processes.
