Job summary

SEIU Healthcare IL Benefit Funds is seeking a Contributions & Eligibility Analyst to support the Contributions & Eligibility Manager in analyzing enrollment, contributions trends, compliance, and policy topics within the C&E Department.

You will handle data analysis, reporting, month-end close related tasks, and serve as back-up for related roles, ensuring accurate billing, eligibility, COBRA, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and trend forecasting skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills; experience with payroll or benefits systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read collective bargaining agreements to determine contribution bases.
• Analyze eligibility reports to identify trends and anomalies.
• Create reports and dashboards for internal use and decision making.
• Support month-end close processes; assist with COBRA and related tasks.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and maintain documentation.
• Back-up for Finance Analyst as C&E liaison and for Employer Relations tasks.
• Recommend procedural improvements to the C&E Department.
