Kids for the Future is seeking a Business Management Analyst II to support national-level coordination bodies and cross-sector working groups within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

The role focuses on governance, operational analysis, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, data reporting, and executive-product support to improve visibility and drive timely leadership-ready outputs.

Qualifications

  • Four to eight years of experience in business analysis, program support, project management, policy analysis, governance, data analysis, or federal operations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DHS Suitability/Fitness Determination.
  • Experience supporting councils, committees, working groups, program offices, or multistakeholder initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing reports, briefings, dashboards, project schedules, process maps, or other decision-support products.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Experience tracking projects, risks, milestones, action items, deliverables, and performance measures.
  • Excellent research, writing, editing, presentation, and stakeholder-communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience performing quality assurance on executive-level products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to accelerated or time sensitive requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update council charters, bylaws, membership structures, procedural frameworks, and other governance documents.
  • Support onboarding, governance training, compliance tracking, and membership recertification activities.
  • Track governance actions, decisions, recommendations, approvals, deliverables, and formal outputs.
  • Maintain version-controlled documentation and prepare consolidated reports identifying updates, outstanding items, and recommended revisions.
  • Plan and coordinate senior-level council meetings, cross-sector engagements, and specialized working-group activities.
  • Prepare engagement packages that include agendas, strategic pre-reads, executive briefings, schedules, and logistics documentation.
  • Maintain meeting calendars, milestone plans, stakeholder workflows, attendance records, and engagement trackers.
  • Prepare post-engagement summaries and action-tracking updates within established deadlines.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of recommendations, decisions, action items, participation data, and performance measures.
  • Develop dashboards, workflow diagrams, reports, infographics, decision matrices, and other analytical products for senior leadership.
  • Conduct research and prepare white papers, issue analyses, strategic assessments, reference documents, and operational planning materials.
  • Compile lessons learned, after-action reports, best practices, and cross-sector observations to support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, process flowcharts, Plans of Action and Milestones, risk registers, and related project-management documentation.
  • Monitor project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and track deliverables through final acceptance.
  • Collect and analyze stakeholder inputs, participation data, engagement outcomes, milestone progress, and performance metrics.
  • Improve standard operating procedures and develop repeatable, auditable processes for data collection, reporting, and records management.
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, memoranda, decision logs, leadership correspondence, and other strategic communications.
  • Provide rapid planning, analysis, documentation, and meeting support during emergent events.
  • Maintain council records in accordance with FACA, DHS Directive 093-01, General Records Schedule 6.2, and other applicable requirements.

Position Overview:

ITSC is seeking a Business Management Analyst II to support the Cybersecurity andInfrastructure Security Agency’s national-level coordination bodies, specialized councils, andcross-sector working groups.This position will provide governance, operational analysis, project coordination, stakeholder
engagement, data reporting, and executive-product support within a complex interagencyenvironment. The successful candidate will help improve operational visibility, coordinate highpriorityengagements, track performance, and deliver accurate, leadership-ready products.

Preferred Qualifications:

    security, cybersecurity, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience supporting DHS, CISA, another federal agency, or a government
    contractor.
  • Familiarity with national-level councils, interagency coordination bodies, critical
    infrastructure, or cross-sector engagement.
  • Knowledge of FACA, DHS Directive 093-01, federal records management, or regulatory
    compliance.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint Online, Power BI, Drupal, Qualtrics, or
    similar platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, performance measurement,
    workflow automation, or process improvement.
  • Project-management or business-analysis certification.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, physical security, critical infrastructure resilience, or national security.
Work Environment:

Work will primarily be performed at CISA facilities in Arlington, Virginia. Telework may be permitted with government approval. The position may require occasional travel and short-noticesupport during emergent events.
