Job summary

You will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and document production activities. Key qualifications include reading blueprints, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, measurements, and written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
• Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train in other areas.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, work instructions, and parts lists before beginning production.
• Gather and prepare the required parts, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate PEM insertion and roll-processing equipment according to established procedures.
• Position and secure components using measurements, templates, and specified assembly methods.
• Inspect assembled parts for proper fit, fastening, and overall quality.
• Measure completed components to verify they meet blueprint specifications.
• Identify and report defects, equipment problems, or production issues to the supervisor.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Cross-train and assist in other production or warehouse areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies and procedures.
