Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in roll forming, metal fabrication, or steel framing is preferred.
• Experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of roll forming processes, tooling, materials, and machine setup.
• Experience reading and interpreting production drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming machinery safely and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
• Set up tooling, adjust machine settings, and verify proper machine operation before and during production runs.
• Read and interpret production orders, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using measuring devices.
• Monitor product quality for dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist with material handling using forklifts or cranes as authorized.
• Complete production records including output, scrap, downtime, and quality data.
• Perform daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following 5S standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures including PPE, lockout/tagout, and OSHA regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with team members, quality personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
