Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown is seeking a pelvic trained physical therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy programs to restore function and independence. You will assess patient conditions, develop care plans with families, and guide treatment using exercise, manual techniques, and education.

Work involves per diem locations, travel between sites, and adherence to AHA BLS requirements; state licensure in PA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Ability to work at various locations per diem.
• Knowledge of best practices in physical therapy.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in evaluating and identifying treatment diagnoses.
• Must communicate with patients, family, and co-workers in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Ability to travel to patient care assignments and hold PA licensure upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements appropriate physical therapy plans of care to restore function and prevent disability.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, mobility training, activities of daily living training, and modalities.
• Provides physical therapy treatment aligned with patient needs and evaluation.
• Performs reassessment and modifies plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisor, physician, and team members.
• Maintains documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
