Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy programs that restore function and improve independence. You will assess patient condition, develop plans of care with patient/family, and guide hands-on therapy to help patients reach maximum function.

Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based therapy, reassessment, coordinating with physicians and team, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in evaluation and identifying treatment diagnoses.
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and competent physical therapy treatments.
• Ability to communicate with patients, family, and co-workers in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Ability to travel to patient care assignments - Home Care only.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• PT - Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements PT plans of care to restore function and independence.
• Implements treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and mobility training.
• Provides PT treatment aligned with patient needs assessment.
• Performs reassessment and modifies plans as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisor, physician, and team.
• Develops age- and population-specific PT plans with measurable goals.
• Ensures documentation complies with policies and regulatory requirements.
