Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Pelletizing Line Operator to manage daily pelletizing line activities, maintain safety, and uphold quality standards. The role requires 40+ hours weekly with possible weekend shifts and overtime.

You will report to the shift Wash Line Supervisor and participate in maintenance and equipment changeovers. The position emphasizes PPE compliance, problem solving, and operating heavy machinery safely, including forklifts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Ability to operate heavymachinery, e.g. forklifts, in a safe manner.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reading and writing skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
• Complete shift production and reporting paperwork.
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production Supervisor.
• Meet ADS quality specifications for all products produced.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems and perform repairs and adjustments to meet production needs.
• Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain ability to operate various production lines and processes; earn certifications.
• Maintain facility housekeeping.
• Adhere to ADS product sampling schedule.
• Build job skills through company training programs.
• Perform tooling changeovers efficiently.
• Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all lines.
