Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Pelletizing Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will perform daily line duties, emphasize safety, quality and efficient production, and support maintenance activities on a 40+ hour weekly schedule with weekend flexibility.

You will need mechanical troubleshooting skills, forklift operation, and basic computer literacy, contributing to our culture of safety and continuous improvement across ADS facilities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, e.g. forklifts, in a safe manner.
• Basic computer skills; reading and writing proficiency.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Self-motivated and proactive in work tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Practice PPE compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete shift production and reporting paperwork accurately.
• Report unsafe conditions or injuries to supervision immediately.
• Meet ADS quality specifications for all products produced.
• Assist with preventive maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems; perform repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely; maintain housekeeping.
• Operate multiple production lines and attend training to earn certifications.
• Adhere to ADS product sampling schedule and standards.
