Job summary

Fram Fuels in Hazlehurst, GA seeks a Day/Night Shift Maintenance Technician for preventive and predictive maintenance in a pellet mill facility. You will be assigned areas of responsibility that rotate to cover all plant sections.

You must lead and assist when called in, fill in for the shift, lubricate and repair equipment, troubleshoot processes, and identify tools needed to improve productivity. On-call duties and ladder work up to 65 feet are required.

Qualifications

• Must complete maintenance work orders for all work completed.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 65’ in height and work with tools/wrenches.
• Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Must maintain good housekeeping.
• Responsible for reporting and documenting damage to equipment or property.
• Must be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work shift schedule, (days off varies, 7am-7pm and/or 7pm-7am), overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Each Day Shift Maintenance will be assigned an area of responsibility for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
• Areas of responsibility will change periodically to ensure familiarity with different sections of the plant.
• Lead and assist the Shift Maintenance Employee when called in.
• Fill in for Shift Maintenance when needed.
• Lubricate equipment.
• Repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems.
• Identify needs for tools and equipment to improve productivity.
