Job summary

The Mill and Dryer Controls Operator at Lignetics, INC. will oversee pellet production on swing shift (2p–10p) with possible overtime, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will monitor pellet mills and dryer systems, manage temperatures and moisture, and adjust blends to meet quality targets.

Strong mechanical aptitude and quick response to changing conditions are essential. System oversight includes safety communication, reporting, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on site in Maine.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is favorable.
• Ability to read and follow production controls and safety docs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust pellet mills and regulate dryer temperatures.
• Monitor material levels and adjust blends for moisture/density.
• Record production data and report equipment or quality concerns.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and follow LOTO procedures.
