Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced software engineer with PEGA and Java expertise to design, develop, and troubleshoot enterprise applications. The role requires strong coding skills, secure software practices, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.

You will contribute across the SDLC, leverage PEGA toolsets, and apply SQL/PL-SQL knowledge. Experience with cloud platforms and Agile/Scrum is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of PEGA experience with formal training or certification
• Proficient in PEGA development and Java development
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments with modern languages and SQL

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
• Working experience on projects in JAVA
• Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques
• Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
