Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced software engineer specializing in PEGA and Java to design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, scalable solutions.

You will write high‑quality code across the SDLC, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and apply PL/SQL and modern database querying skills in a large corporate environment.

Preferred candidates hold PEGA certification and have 7+ years of PEGA experience, with cloud and Agile/Scrum experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years PEGA experience required.
• Experience in Java projects in a corporate environment.
• Strong PL/SQL and database querying knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Writes secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.

Job description

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience in PEGA
• Working experience on projects in JAVA
• Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques
• Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Good understanding of PL/SQL

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum settings with distributed teams.
