Job summary

Washington County Mental Health Services in Vermont seeks a Peer Support Wellness Coach to mentor and provide coaching to identified clients and groups, supporting health and wellness goals. The role fosters a welcoming environment where clients feel understood, respected and empowered, both on-site and in the community.

You will organize wellness workshops, tailor care plans across wellness, behavioral and medical services, and work with diverse youth and families to promote healthy lifestyle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, peer support, or human services preferred.
• Strong communication and written documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining boundaries, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and provide supportive coaching to identified clients and groups.
• Organize quarterly health wellness workshops for youth and families.
• Deliver wellness activities on-site and in the community.
• Tailor plans of care coordinating wellness, behavioral, and medical services.
