Job summary

Terros Health in Phoenix is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team serving individuals diagnosed with SMI or mental health conditions under court-ordered treatment at our South Mountain Recovery Health Center. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, location 3540 E Baseline Rd, Phoenix.

The role emphasizes using lived experience to support recovery, family involvement, and client empowerment.

Seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment at our South Mountain Recovery Health Center.

Full-Time Employment: 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: 3540 E. Baseline Rd. Unit #150, Phoenix AZ, 85042

As a Peer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating various group and individual activities that support and strengthen the member and the families assisting them in their recovery. Duties Include

• Use your own life experience to encourage and assist both clients and their families throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct assessments, service planning, and service delivery while maintaining focus on recovery and resiliency.
• Create and conduct a variety of group activities for family and clients alike.
• Promote community integration, independence, and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of member engagements.
