Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Oakland, CA is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations that help members pursue their recovery goals. You will contribute to Telecare’sRecovery Culture and support clients in de-escalation during crises, working a 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM shift Tuesday through Saturday.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, CEUs, tuition discounts, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Peer Certification must be maintained throughout employment within 90 days after date of hire.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
