Central Counties Services in Belton, TX seeks a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused support to individuals with mental health needs. This role uses lived experience to educate, motivate, and empower clients across outreach, engagement, stabilization, and sustained recovery.

The position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to work flexible hours, and certification as MHPS/RSPS or commitment to obtain within one year of hire.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Provide recovery support services and build trusting relationships with individuals in recovery.
• Deliver recovery education using lived experience to promote hope and self-advocacy.
• Assist with goal setting and development of person-centered recovery plans.
• Navigate behavioral health systems and connect to housing, employment, education, and healthcare resources.
• Document all services timely and accurately per regulatory standards.
