R&C Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to walk alongside individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges.

You will offer encouragement, understanding, and support grounded in lived experience within community settings. This role provides flexible, hybrid schedules, mileage reimbursement, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and a mission-driven team culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina Peer Support Specialist certification or equivalent credential.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients and teams.
• Able to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative care team.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate individual and group peer-support interventions to promote self-worth, safety, and growth.
• Assist clients with recovery plans, PADs, and WRAPs as appropriate.
• Help clients strengthen coping, self-advocacy, and self-management skills.
• Navigate services, access benefits, coordinate appointments, and connect with resources.
• Provide peer support during crisis per protocols and training.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with Medicaid requirements.
