Pride in North Carolina, LLC is seeking a Full Time Peer Support Staff at the ELIZABETH CITY CLINIC (PRIDE) to work with individuals facing mental health and related needs. You will support treatment plans and assist with daily living skills in a person-centered approach.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or GED) and NC Certified Peer Support Specialist or equivalent. Responsibilities include teaching coping skills, facilitating activities, and coordinating transportation as needed.

• Must have a high school diploma (or GED) and be either an Associate Professional/Paraprofessional or NC Certified Peer Support Specialist.
• Duties include supporting treatment plans and facilitating daily living and coping skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals with mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance use issues.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding consumer treatment and concerns.
• Implement person-centered interventions written in the plan.
• Teach problem solving, coping skills, and age-appropriate activities.
