Job summary

LifeWorks Austin is seeking a Program Manager to join our Peer Services team. The role coordinates a team of peer support specialists, provides training and supervision, data oversight, and quality improvement to support youth ages 16-26 facing homelessness and related challenges.

This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary and benefits, including PTO, holidays, a premium-free medical plan with HSA contributions, and 50% match on retirement investments.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Requires maintaining their own recovery for the last two 2-year period.
• Experience with databases; proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assists in the development, delivery, and management of program services.
• Promotes a healing- and person-centered culture that uplifts the dignity and strengths of clients.
• Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, supervision, evaluation, and dismissal of direct reports.
• Reviews client outcomes with direct reports during supervision.
• Ensures staff provide appropriate support to clients and utilize program resources efficiently.
• Coaches, plans, monitors, and appraises job results to meet objectives.
• Represents the program at leadership meetings and communicates decisions to the team.
• Provides community training, presentations, and outreach activities.
