Job summary

LifeWorks of Austin is seeking a Program Manager to lead our Housing team in Austin, TX. This full-time exempt role supervises staff, coordinates services, ensures client outcomes, and engages with community partners to support youth experiencing homelessness.

You will train and mentor staff, manage program data, monitor outcomes, and uphold funding requirements while contributing to quality improvement and mission-driven service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field with 3 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Preferred minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Experience with databases; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assists in the development, delivery, and management of program services.
• Promotes a healing- and person-centered culture that uplifts clients.
• Hires, orientates, trains, supervises, evaluates, and dismisses direct reports as per policy.
• Reviews client outcomes with supervisees and ensures staff provide needed support.
• Monitors data entry and reporting in agency and funder databases; ensures accuracy.
