Aspire365 seeks a Peer Recovery Support / Life Coach to assist first responders remotely via telemedicine and in-home visits in a contracted part-time role. You will support clients through their recovery, schedule appointments, and document progress for the Recovery Team.

The ideal candidate is a former first responder or military veteran with HIPAA knowledge, sobriety, and strong communication skills. Training in recovery coaching is required and evenings/weekends are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and sobriety.
• Experience as a first responder or military background.
• Recovery coach trainings completed and state requirements maintained.
• Able to meet clients in home and provide remote support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule own appointments with clients according to their schedule.
• Provide support via phone or text on non-face-to-face days.
• Help clients complete treatment goals and tasks with guidance from the Addiction Psychiatrist, Nurse and Therapist.
• Take clients to group meetings when applicable.
• Communicate non-compliance or issues to the Recovery Team and Program Coordinator.
• Document required information for Aspire365 or Recovery Team.

This is a contracted part-time position where services are delivered to the client through in-home and telemedicine visits. If you are a caring, dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you!Aspire365 has a specific mission—to deliver the highest quality evidence-based care to anyone suffering with a substance use disorder. This is accomplished by changing the way treatment is delivered. An intensive evidence-based chronic program to treat a chronic illness.This position is a remote role. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience working with First responders in all disciplines and was a first responder themselves. We will also except applications from people with military experience.****Responsibilities for Peer Support / Life Coach include, but not limited to:***** Utilize skills developed through certification to help client through the recovery process* Responsible for scheduling own appointments with the client according to client’s schedule* Engage and participate with client in replacement activities* Work with the client to complete treatment goals and tasks set by the Addiction Psychiatrist, Nurse and Therapist* Communicate to the Recovery Team and Program Coordinator any non-compliance, behavior changes, issues or incidents either witnessed or communicated* Help clients build trust, as well as, open and honest communication, share life experiences of recovery* Takes client to group meetings **(When applicable)*** Provide client with support via phone or text on days there is not a face-to-face contact* Complete any documentation required by Aspire365 or the Recovery Support Team****Qualifications:***** Experience as a First Responder and or Experience providing care to first responders* Knowledge of State professional and ethical guidelines* HIPAA Compliance* Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, motivate clients and resolve problems* Minimum of 10 hours available per month* Evening and Weekend Availability* Meet with client in the client’s home throughout the 12-month program* Remote Meeting Proficiency****Education & Credentials:***** Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license* ****Must have experience as a First Responder or have worked in the military***** Complete Recovery Coach Trainings* Maintain state requirements* Currently maintaining sobriety (minimum of 1 year)* ****Must be a**** ****Certified**** ****Life Coach or**** ****Certified**** ****Peer Support********Job Type:**** Contracted Part-Time****Pay Rate:**** between $25-$30 per session****Experience:****Peer Support Experience: 1 year (Preferred)****License:****CPRS or CLC or Equivalent****Work Location:**** remote**Aspire365 facilitates the treatment of behavioral health conditions including addiction medicine.
