Aspire365 is seeking a Peer Recovery Support / Life Coach to work with first responders. This contracted part-time role is delivered through in-home and telemedicine visits and is remote.

The ideal candidate has first responder or military experience, HIPAA knowledge, and the ability to schedule sessions independently while supporting recovery goals with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a First Responder or military background preferred.
• Maintain sobriety for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of state guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer recovery support and life coaching to first responders.
• Schedule and conduct sessions with clients per their availability.
• Help clients progress toward treatment goals with the Recovery Team.
• Document required information and report any non-compliance or issues.
• Offer remote support via phone or text when not in-person.
• Assist clients to attend group meetings when applicable.

This is a contracted part-time position where services are delivered to the client through in-home and telemedicine visits. If you are a caring, dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you!Aspire365 has a specific mission—to deliver the highest quality evidence-based care to anyone suffering with a substance use disorder. This is accomplished by changing the way treatment is delivered. An intensive evidence-based chronic program to treat a chronic illness.This position is a remote role. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience working with First responders in all disciplines and was a first responder themselves. We will also except applications from people with military experience.****Responsibilities for Peer Support / Life Coach include, but not limited to:***** Utilize skills developed through certification to help client through the recovery process* Responsible for scheduling own appointments with the client according to client’s schedule* Engage and participate with client in replacement activities* Work with the client to complete treatment goals and tasks set by the Addiction Psychiatrist, Nurse and Therapist* Communicate to the Recovery Team and Program Coordinator any non-compliance, behavior changes, issues or incidents either witnessed or communicated* Help clients build trust, as well as, open and honest communication, share life experiences of recovery* Takes client to group meetings **(When applicable)*** Provide client with support via phone or text on days there is not a face-to-face contact* Complete any documentation required by Aspire365 or the Recovery Support Team****Qualifications:***** Experience as a First Responder and or Experience providing care to first responders* Knowledge of State professional and ethical guidelines* HIPAA Compliance* Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, motivate clients and resolve problems* Minimum of 10 hours available per month* Evening and Weekend Availability* Meet with client in the client’s home throughout the 12-month program* Remote Meeting Proficiency****Education & Credentials:***** Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license* ****Must have experience as a First Responder or have worked in the military***** Complete Recovery Coach Trainings* Maintain state requirements* Currently maintaining sobriety (minimum of 1 year)* ****Must be a**** ****Certified**** ****Life Coach or**** ****Certified**** ****Peer Support********Job Type:**** Contracted Part-Time****Pay Rate:**** between $25-$30 per session****Experience:****Peer Support Experience: 1 year (Preferred)****License:****CPRS or CLC or Equivalent****Work Location:**** remote**Aspire365 facilitates the treatment of behavioral health conditions including addiction medicine.
