The Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) at THREE RIVERS YOUTH will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator for recovering individuals to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The CRS must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRS Certification obtained prior to hire.
• Must have lived experience with substance use disorder and 18–24 months of sustained recovery.
• Clearances (Act 33/34, PA Criminal History, FBI) must be current.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development of an individualized Recovery Plan.
• Offer recovery education, information, coaching, encouragement and support.
• Recovery resource identification, development and mobilization.
• Maintain a caseload of 10-25, depending on needs and contacts.
• Navigate addiction treatment and other human services.
