Job summary

Care New England is seeking a TPC Anchor Peer Recovery Specialist (CCBHC) to support clients in recovery with peer‑led services. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, advocate for resources, and promote recovery using lived experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, delivering in‑person services, leading groups, and documenting progress in compliant records. A retention bonus of $2,000 is offered along with opportunities to grow within the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Experience accessing housing, medical, financial resources.
• Must have CPRS certification or obtain within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong knowledge of community resources and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and client advocacy to a caseload with required in‑person contacts.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement client‑centered care plans.
• Lead or co‑lead groups on life skills, resources, and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory and agency standards.
• Travel within the community to support clients and attend meetings.
