Job summary

Brandywine Counseling & Community Services (BCCS) is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to support the Hep C Elimination Program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about recovery, community outreach, and helping individuals overcome barriers to care.

The position involves re-engaging clients in care, maintaining a statewide outreach caseload, and serving as a liaison between clients and clinical staff while facilitating life skills and wellness groups.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED
• REQUIRED: Valid driver's license with 2 points or less
• REQUIRED: Must Have Own Vehicle Available for Use - Statewide Travel Required
• REQUIRED: Must identify as a peer: BCCS employs a diverse workforce, and we especially encourage applications from those who are in recovery. This position requires that the candidate chosen for it is a peer. BCCS defines a peer as anyone who is in recovery from addiction to drugs, alcohol, or mental health.
• REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 years' in recovery
• REQUIRED: 1 – 3 years' experience working with people in recovery
• Preferred: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS). If you are not certified, certification is required within the first year of employment.

Brandywine Counseling & Community Services (BCCS) is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to support our Hep C Elimination Program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about recovery, community outreach, and helping individuals overcome barriers to care.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Pay:

• Starting at $18/hour
• Commensurate based on experience, education, and certification!
