Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Peer Recovery & Research Assistant II to support SPRUCE: SSP and Peers in Rural Areas Connecting. This role operates as a Peer Recovery Specialist with the Frederick SSP team and supports data collection, stakeholder coordination, and outreach to promote telemedicine and HIV/hepatitis C prevention and treatment in the community.

The position involves assisting with research activities, scheduling, documentation, and data entry, under SSP and Hopkins

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related experience is required.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per the JHU equivalency policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing operational plans to meet research goals.
• Set up data collection tools and study procedures.
• Collect and organize data from participant interviews and questionnaires.
• Manage data records and study files; conduct basic analyses and generate routine reports.
• Engage participants with education on HIV, hepatitis C, overdose prevention, and treatment.
