Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Peer Support Coordinator to provide peer recovery support services and coordinate treatment resources for adults in recovery. The role uses lived recovery experience to engage clients, navigate services, and promote person-centered, trauma-informed care.

The position emphasizes collaboration with supervisors, licensed professionals, and community partners, while adhering to DHS licensing standards and program policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a CPRS credential in good standing through the Minnesota Certification Board (MCB).
• Must meet provider qualifications and scope of practice per Minnesota Statutes 245I.04.18.
• Must adhere to MCB Code of Ethics and maintain professional boundaries while providing recovery-oriented support.
• Experience collaborating with clients, families, internal teams, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer recovery support to individuals seeking help in maintaining their recovery.
• Complete a recovery capital assessment and set meaningful, achievable goals with clients and care team.
• Promote client ownership of recovery goals and ensure visibility with the care team.
• Connect clients to community-based recovery resources and supports.
• Attend weekly supervision with supervisor and LADC supervisor sessions.
