Job summary

MN Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis seeks a Peer Support Coordinator to connect adults to recovery services using lived experience. You will blend peer recovery support with treatment coordination, helping clients navigate resources and maintain continuity of care.

This role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices, collaboration with care teams, and compliant documentation. A CPRS credential and experience with EHR systems are required to support recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must have CPRS credential in good standing.
• Must meet provider qualifications under Minnesota Statutes 245I.
• Must maintain MCB Code of Ethics and professional boundaries.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) such as Credible preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, families, internal teams, and community partners.
• Must have personal lived recovery experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have at least 1 year of freedom from substances.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer recovery support to clients.
• Complete a recovery capital assessment with clients.
• Promote client ownership of recovery goals with the care team.
• Connect clients to community recovery resources and supports.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards per policy.
• Document peer recovery services and billing per requirements.
• Attend weekly supervision meetings and LADC supervision.
• Maintain relationships with treatment centers and community partners.
• Complete basic administrative duties.
