Job summary

Telecare's Gresham Recovery Center in Gresham, OR is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage with members and help them pursue recovery goals. The role promotes Telecare’s Recovery Culture and coordinates with the team to respect individual choices while ensuring safety.

Shifts include Full-Time PM (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). Expected starting wage range is $18.69 - $22.52 per hour, with geographic differentials applied to pay ranges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Oregon THW Peer Certification required prior to hire.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture.
• Recognize, respect, and integrate member preferences into services and self-help programming.
• Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to maintain a least restrictive environment.
