Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach I in Gresham, OR to engage with members, promote Telecare's Recovery Culture, and support recovery goals. The role includes evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) on Saturday through Tuesday and requires THW certification in Oregon and a high school diploma.

Starting wage ranges from $18.69 to $22.52 per hour, with geographic differentials. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, CEUs, tuition discounts, and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Oregon THW Certification for Peer Support Specialist or Peer Wellness Specialist prior to hire
• One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to transport clients

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members achieve recovery goals
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Recovery Culture
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation to maintain a least restrictive environment
