You will collaborate with treatment teams, collect data, and help patients engage with self-help groups and community resources.

Qualification includes 2+ years in behavioral health; Peer Recovery certification is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in behavioral health.
• Peer Recovery or Peer Recovery Coach certification preferred.
• High School degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support, mentoring, advocacy, and problem-solving.
• Educate patients and families on mental illness and addiction.
• Collect and report data as required.
• Assist patients in setting and achieving recovery goals.
• Support patients in joining and sustaining self-help groups.
• Utilize tools like WRAP for individual wellness plans.
• Teach problem-solving techniques in group settings.
• Support patients' vocational choices and job-related anxiety.
• Assist in social skills development and obtaining housing.
• Model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Advocate for recovery-based services.
• Connect patients with community resources.
• Help patients develop empowerment skills and combat stigma.
• Collaborate with treatment teams on recovery plans.
