Job summary

NEXUS Recovery Center Incorporated in Dallas seeks a dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist to help clients access services and sustain recovery. You will work with the Outpatient Services team to coach clients, coordinate referrals, and support recovery goals.

This role requires personal recovery, TX driver’s license, and a state Recovery Peer Specialist certification. You will thrive in a fast-paced, team-based setting while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• TX Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Must be in a personal recovery program with at least 1 year of sobriety.
• Texas State certification of Recovery Support Peer Specialist required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in accessing services and referrals.
• Provide transportation as needed to attend meetings.
• Attend court appointments as support/advocate.
• Lead peer recovery activities and recovery planning with clients.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
