Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to provide non-clinical support to patients pursuing treatment for alcohol or drug dependency. You will collaborate with the care team to motivate patients and help develop service plans to promote successful linkage to treatment options.

Candidates must be actively in recovery with at least three years of sustained abstinence; one year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be actively in recovery with at least 3 years of sobriety.
• 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Job description

Summary:
The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services intended to aid patients in establishing recovery from high risk of dependent alcohol and drug use problems. Work as part of the team to provide peer support and motivation to encourage patients who are seeking treatment for alcohol or drug dependency and addiction issues. Assist in completing referrals to treatment services and developing service plans to promote successful linkage to treatment services.

Experience:

• The eligible candidate must be actively engaged in his/her own recovery program with a minimum of three years demonstrated personal recovery and sustained abstinence from alcohol and/or drug use.
• This position may receive training on naxoline and travel as necessary.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Pay Range: $17.12 to $26.00 Based On Experience
