Job summary

Therapeutic Health Services is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to work with the Assisted Outpatient Treatment program, providing recovery support and navigation to patients in need. You will use lived experience to engage patients, promote self-advocacy, and connect them to community resources.

You will coordinate care, document progress in EMR, and collaborate with treatment teams to help patients achieve recovery goals in a supportive, recovery-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED and continuing education in related field, with at least 3 years’ experience as a WA State certified Peer counselor.
• WA State Peer Counselor Certification required.
• WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer recovery support services to patients in the AOT program.
• Perform outreach to engage and retain patients in treatment.
• Assist patients with housing, transportation, finances, and other resources.
