Job summary

Housing Works is seeking a Peer Navigator to support the ATI program in Manhattan. You will provide appointment escorts, navigate services, and facilitate weekly orientations for newly enrolled clients, drawing on lived experience with the criminal legal system and substance use or behavioral health needs.

Under supervision, you will work with Case Managers, conduct 1:1 sessions during critical moments, and help coordinate care across providers.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with criminal legal system.
• Ability to deliver motivational interviewing and CBT interventions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides navigation and transportation support for clients from court to enrollment.
• Facilitates program orientations and weekly peer support groups.
• Conducts crisis intervention and 1:1 sessions during non-compliance alerts.
• Collaborates with Case Managers and external providers to monitor engagement.
