Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support peers in obtaining New York State peer certification by guiding application requirements and mentoring through the process.
• Teach skills for daily living including hygiene, laundry, budgeting, shopping, meals, and safety.
• Monitor apartment maintenance and report issues to supervisor.
• Document services rendered and client progress in a timely manner.
• Assist in building self-advocacy and recovery skill building goals to reduce emergency service contacts.
• Facilitate groups as requested and accompany clients as needed.
