Qualifications

  • Lived experience with mental health or related services and commitment to peer recovery goals.
  • Completion of NYCPS certification required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; basic computer/data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct home-based services and assist peers with certification processes.
  • Teach daily living skills such as personal hygiene, budgeting, meal planning, and housekeeping.
  • Monitor apartment safety, maintenance, and overall living conditions.
  • Document services rendered and client progress in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate groups and report incidents or changes to supervisors.
  • Support self-advocacy and recovery goals to reduce emergency service contact.
