Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Pedorthist for its brand-new Hanger Clinic in Panama City, Florida. The role includes operating within an onsite fabrication lab to design, fabricate, and fit pedorthic devices for a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate with a CPO, administrator, and BDM to deliver comprehensive pedorthic care, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and contribute to practice management. A strong clinical foundation and the ability to obtain/maintain licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pedorthics from the ABC or BOC, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record as per policy.
• State licensure may be required and must be obtained/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate pedorthic needs and recommend treatment options.
• Assess patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design pedorthic devices and select appropriate materials.
• Perform fitting and alignment, ensuring fit and function.
• Provide patient education and follow-up with physicians and care team.
• Mentor newly certified clinicians and support reimbursement activities.
