Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Pedorthist to join its clinical team under direct supervision of a certified clinician. You will evaluate patients, design, fabricate and fit pedorthotic devices to deliver excellent outcomes and collaborate with the rehabilitation team using the latest technology.

You will mentor and support other clinicians, maintain records, and help meet revenue targets while ensuring patient-centered care and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Pedorthist from the ABC or BOC, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate pedorthic needs and recommend options.
• Design pedorthotic devices and select appropriate materials.
• Take cast measurements, modify models, and plan layouts with current techniques.
• Perform fitting and static/dynamic alignment checks with emphasis on patient comfort.
• Provide patient education on device usage and follow-up with physicians.
