Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a BC/BE pediatric surgeon to join a growing team of three physicians and three advanced practice providers. Your role is primarily clinical with involvement in supervising and teaching medical students, pediatric residents, and surgical residents. Our Children`s Hospital has been recognized nationally for its quality accomplishments.

Details:

• Busy clinical practice with two operative days per surgeon, dedicated pediatric operating rooms, and two half-day clinics at the office on campus
• Cover Pediatric Trauma up to 14 years of age with support from adult trauma services and surgical residents
• Four advanced practice providers assist with patient care on the floors and after hours; two residents on service
• The only ACS Verified Level II Pediatric Trauma center in the region
• The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides state-of-the-art care with 24-hour in-house intensivist coverage
• 34 pediatric specialties including radiology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, anesthesiology, neonatology
