Overview

Prisma Health Medical Group-Midlands and the University of South Carolina, Department of Pediatrics are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician. This full-time position focuses on sickle cell disease and benign hematology. The role involves joining a comprehensive sickle cell program that includes a full-time APP, physician, social worker, nurse navigator, clinic nurses, and neuropsychologist. There is also an opportunity to collaborate with upstate partners to enhance care and access for pediatric and adult sickle cell patients. Currently serving nearly 600 patients in the Midlands, the program is poised for growth with recent state funding and a dedicated community philanthropic partner. The division comprises 7 physicians and 2 APPs.
