Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Pediatrics specialty for a full-time position in El Paso, Texas. The RN will provide direct clinical patient care, assess and plan care, and supervise staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing, and recent acute care experience with BLS (AHA) and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active nursing license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care to pediatric patients on a per shift basis.
• Coordinate and supervise care with nursing staff to ensure high quality patient outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy and document actions.
• Respond to emergencies in the unit and participate in hospital incident command as needed.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and QA standards to ensure optimal patient care.
