Job description

BC / BE Pediatrician for Hospital Employed Position

Join a team of 5 pediatricians and 2 advanced practitioners at a hospital located on the campus of a 700-bed teaching hospital.

The role involves teaching residents and medical students both in the office and the nursery. Inpatient teaching rounds in the nursery occur approximately every 5th week with Family Medicine residents and medical students rotating in Pediatrics.

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The position includes shared call responsibilities approximately 1 in 5 evenings and weekends. First-call coverage is provided by Family Medicine senior residents for answering service calls.

The hospital offers a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), dedicated Pediatrics service in the Emergency Department, and 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalists.

Compensation is competitive, with a base salary ranging from $220,000 to $240,000. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions and matching, and malpractice insurance.
